The ID06 card is used for entry and exit at workplaces and records attendance in the electronic time clock.
With the ID06 Skills Database, educational credentials and qualifications can be linked directly to the card. This makes it easy to ensure that the right skills are available—when they’re needed.
Before issuing an ID06 card, we verify the individual’s identity, citizenship, and right to work in Sweden. We also verify that there is a valid employer-employee relationship between the individual and the company ordering the card. These checks continue on an ongoing basis for as long as the card is active.
Today, ID06 is used by over 90,000 companies and approximately 700,000 cardholders from more than 125 countries. This makes ID06 an established standard for secure and transparent workplaces.
The technology behind the ID06 card
The ID06 card is a high-security access card featuring advanced technology. The card contains the cardholder’s identity and employer information to enable identity verification by both individuals and automated systems.
