Manage invitation

The authorized signatory or administrator at your workplace has sent you an invitation. Log in or create an account to access your dashboard, where you can view the status of your card order.

Here's how to do it

Click “Continue to invitation” in the email
An email has been sent to you. In the email, you can click to view the invitation to order the cards. You also have the option to decline the invitation. If you’re unsure, there’s a link you can use to send a message to the person who sent you the invitation.
Sign in or create an account
If you already have an account, simply log in. If you don’t have an account yet, you’ll need to create one first. Once you’re logged in, you’ll have access to your home page, where you can track the status of your cases. You can find your settings in the menu at the top right.

Choose the right method to verify your identity
MittID06 supports enhanced ID verification using BankID for Swedish citizens and Freja for Swedish and foreign citizens. If you are unable to use BankID or Freja, you can visit an ID06 partner who will assist you with the ID verification process.

Question: What should I do if I have an EU residence permit card from another EU country?
Answer: To exercise your right to work in Sweden, you need to visit a scanning partner who can scan your residence permit card or a copy of your residence permit decision.

Approve card order
Make sure the information on the card and your contact details are correct. Then confirm the order.

Question: Can I choose which of my names will appear on the card?
Answer: Yes, you can choose up to two first names or two last names listed on your ID document.

Here's how to do it

Track the status of your card order on your home page in MittID06
Depending on the delivery option, among other factors, the card will arrive at different times. You can log in to MittID06 to check the status of your card order.
Use digital proof
While your card is being produced and shipped to you, you can use the digital proof. The digital proof is valid for a limited time and is typically valid for up to 14 days after the order is placed.
Activate your card
Once you have received your card, log in to MittID06 and activate your card from the home screen by entering the last two digits of your card number.

Question: What happens if I don't activate the card?
Answer: The card must be activated in order to be used for access to the workplace.
