ID06 Digital Proof – How It Works
MittID06 simplifies the card ordering process, and the ID06 Digital Certificate eliminates the need for expensive express delivery fees. Here, we explain how it works.
Starting May 27, 2026, you’ll no longer have to pay expensive fees for express card delivery. Instead, you—or your employees—will have access to a digital proof as soon as the card is ordered—so you’ll be ready to work from day one. It’s quick and easy, and you can rest assured that ID06 has performed all the necessary checks.

What is ID06 Digital Certificate?
An ID06 digital receipt is a temporary receipt that confirms that a cardholder’s order for an ID06 card has been approved and that a physical ID06 card is on its way.
The digital proof shows that ID06's checks have been completed and approved. The ID06 digital proof is available within about an hour after the card order has been approved.
How to Access ID06 Digital Certificate
- Once you have ordered an ID06 card, log in to MittID06 via ID06.se on your mobile device. The ID06 Digital Certificate will be available starting on the start date specified in the order (which can be up to 14 days from the order date).
- On the first page, you’ll see your card. The “Digital Certificate” button will appear as soon as your digital certificate becomes available.
- Select “Digital proof.”
- Your digital proof will appear as a QR code on your phone. Show this to the person in charge at your workplace along with your ID.
- Once you receive your physical ID06 card, activate it and start using it to gain access.
For Site Managers: How Digital Verification Works
Starting May 27, cardholders with MittID06 will have access to digital proof of identity while waiting for their physical card to arrive. This means that card users can be ready at the workplace as soon as a card order is placed, and you can rest assured that ID06 has performed all necessary checks. Here, we explain how this works for you as a workplace supervisor or site manager.
ID06 Digital Proof at the Workplace – How to Verify It Upon Entry
Previously, express delivery of cards was an option for those who wanted faster access to their workplace after ordering a card. With MittID06, express delivery is being phased out and replaced by the ID06 Digital Certificate, pending delivery of the physical card.
- When a cardholder needs to prove that an ID06 card has been ordered through ID06 Digital Certificate, they present a QR code on their cell phone along with their identification.
- If you are the person in charge at the workplace, scan the QR code and the following page will appear. The confirmation indicates that an ID06 card has been ordered and the cardholder has been approved. At a workplace that uses a staff log, the person in charge can manually enter an individual’s information. The staff log includes the individual’s first and last name, personal identification number, the company the individual represents, the date and time of entry, and the date and time of exit.

ID Check and Photo
In MittID06, the photo from a passport or national ID card is used as part of the identity verification process. The purpose is to make the process more secure and reduce the risk of someone using another person’s identity.

Logo in MittID06
In MittID06, you can change or add your logo. To change your logo, do the following:
- Log in to MittID06 and click on "Organization Details."
- Click "Edit" under the "Logo" heading.
- Upload the new logo.
- Save, and then click Close.
